Blog Proj #10

This week Ben and Jerrys mostly posted about new flavors as well as different promotional deals that go along with the seasons. They posted about a new flavor for the season, a pumpkin flavor which people love about the fall. They also posted a promotional deal that when you go to your local Ben and Jerrys store and buy a pint of ice cream you will receive two free waffle cones on the side. I noticed this week more interaction between the company instagram and consumers. These interactions included people asking question and them answering, as well as people making suggestions about dairy free options and flavor ideas. These suggestions were received well by the company and they responded a very open and engaging way. They exclaimed that the ideas were great ideas and they’d send the ideas to their flavor scientist. By them having this opening line of communication it makes the consumer feel heard and makes them more likely to purchase product from this company.
