In this short paragraph Anne Lamott was able to convey perfect my feelings towards first drafts, in high school I never got the point of doing a “rough draft” I thought that your initial feelings were what you should write about and therefore it was your only draft. When Lamott states that she would just write sentences of nonsense and then just cross them out I felt as though it was an important because that is a free flowing thinking process. I feel like this is an important to have this process and this is how I try to write my papers.
Revision Process: My plan for my revision process is to go through my peer edits, change what I agree needs to be changed. Then to go back through with a very critical eye on myself and make more revisions.
