I think that this piece has a very profound way of looking at the use of narratives to describe a life, my personal feelings is that you shouldn’t force yourself to live your life as if you are living a narrative, I feel then you force yourself to be ingenue. I feel like the same is explained in this article, when the authors says ‘We invent ourselves… but we really are the characters we invent.” In this portion of the paper also the author uses a quote sandwich we have been working on in class, he does this in order to show justification to his point. I feel like this author goes through this paper in a very negative way but clearly makes his point that he feels you should not live your life as if you a living a narrative that you must tell. n
